Lucknow: When a group of underprivileged kids walked down the ramp, they drew a loud applause from the audience, both for their effort as well as the green cause . The kids fashion show on the theme of environment was held at Raj Bhawan. The idea was mooted by Governor Anandiben Patel, who suggested that children from the reform school run by Raj Bhawan be made a part of it.

City-based fashion designer Asma Hussain along with NGO Ummeed curated the show which had children in the 4-15 age group walking the ramp. The fashion show titled "Lullabies in the forest" showcased how earth was a happy and healthy planet until excess industrialisation, consumerism and petrochemical waste eroded its peace and health. Students from the Asma Hussain Institute of Fashion Technology were also a part of the show.
