And one village was even believed to have seen no sunshine since the start of the month thanks to "anticyclonic gloom". Odiham, a village of around 5,000 people in Hampshire, has recorded zero minutes of sunshine since October according to ITV weather presenter Becky Martin. However, forecasters have now confirmed that most of the country will enjoy sunshine and blue skies today on Armistice Day.
