To promote emissions-free rides in the UK, Uber has teamed up with Lotus to deploy a fleet of the latter’s Eletre Hyper EVs around London. Now through the end of November, London commuters can book a ride in an Eletre by selecting Uber Green in their app. Better yet, the rider who saves the most emissions will win free rides for the next ten years.
The Lotus Eletre is a new, all-electric Hyper SUV from Lotus Cars. It was originally teased in 2021 before a year later. Following the start of production and deliveries in China, Lotus began taking orders for its latest BEV model this past April.

To promote its latest model and sustainability ethos, Lotus has teamed up with Uber in England to provide luxury rides to rideshare customers who opt to travel without emissions. To encourage the use of those Lotus BEVs in London specifically, Uber is giving away a decade of complimentary rides to the customer who save’s the most emissions next month.
Lotus shared details of its latest promotion with Uber this morning, which entails the deployment of a fleet of Eletre SUVs around London. According to Uber, nearly 30% of its driver miles traveled around London are already all-electric, and to reward those customers, it is offering luxury rides in a new Eletre SUV. Locals and tourists around London can book a Lotus BEV via the Uber Green option in their rideshare app, .
