If you are looking for somewhere to celebrate the turning of the year outside of your own four walls this festive season, there are a couple of very different options available to you in Hull. New Year’s Eve falls on a Tuesday this year and if you are in the mood for a party, but nothing that goes on too late – you might even want to be back home well before Big Ben’s chimes on December 31 – a DayClubbers do in the heart of Hull’s Old Town could be just the place. DayClubbers has been a feature of the city’s early-evening offering previously, with a Halloween day club party at ATIK that finished mid-evening.

DayClubbers is back with its first New Year’s Eve day party, again at the Dagger Lane venue and aimed at the over-30s. The organisers have promised three rooms of music, including Dance Classics, Old Skool RNB and a special 80s & 90s Cheesy Pop Room, lots of festive freebies and free bubbly with each ticket. They said: “Want to celebrate New Year’s Eve without the late night? We have got you covered.

“Expect a full line-up of experienced DJs playing the ultimate dance floor fillers, singalong classics and forgotten favourites from the 80s, 90s & 00's. Home before nine and wake up fresh.” ATIK will have a full club makeover for the event, with neon light shows, professional dancers, confetti cannons and a huge New Year’s Eve countdown, but all taking place between 4pm and 8pm.

Tickets range from £9. On the flipside, if you are looking to party late.
