This year’s event was marked by the introduction of four new award categories, broadening the scope to a total of 28 categories. These new additions—Editor’s Choice: Best Spas, Editor’s Choice: Best Restaurants, Editor’s Choice: Best Resort for Sports & Fitness, and TTM Top Producers – Airlines—highlight the diverse excellence and innovation that characterize the Maldives’ tourism sector.
Celebrating Excellence Across Categories The awards honored a variety of resorts, each excelling in different facets of hospitality: The Editor’s Choice categories spotlighted the Maldives’ unparalleled offerings: Recognizing Top Producers and Airlines In a significant move to recognize the contribution of travel partners, the TTM Top Producers included major global players such as Agoda, Booking.com, Emirates Holidays, and TUI Group. The newly introduced TTM Top Producers – Airlines category featured leaders like Aeroflot, Qatar Airways, and Singapore Airlines.
