To commemorate the emergence of Sri Andal Goda Devi, believed to be an incarnation of Bhudevi, the authorities of TTD will celebrate the annual Purusaivari Thototsavam as part of the Sri Andal Ammavari Thiruvadipuram Sattumora in Tirumala on Wednesday. Gold jewellery worth `20 lakh was stolen from a residence in JR Peta of Atmakur municipality in Nellore district in the early hours of Tuesday. The incident occurred while the homeowners, Padma Shekhar Reddy and Subhashini, were away.
