I read an article about an abortion provider in Arizona on “The Guardian” website. www.theguardian.
com/...
I am imploring everyone here to take the time to read this and send the people in this office your words of support and gratitude for their bravery. Forward this article to everyone you know. Please join me in reaching out to the staff there to assure them that they are not alone, and in fact, they are the heroes in America.
[email protected] These people wake up every day and face egregious hostility and climb mountains and avoid dangerous traps with severe consequences to their lives placed in their path by a hostile, callous and inhumane, state government. People who have no legitimate right to say they serve the people.
The people in this office walk the gauntlet of hate that waits for them every day. They tolerate abuse from protesters at their office, peopled with “pro-life” haters. They serve the families in their state when the majority of providers abandon them along with their Oath, by leaving the state or not providing care.
This is out of fear for their very lives. I cannot blame them. The risk is proven to need courage, to even consider taking.
The providers in this story are different. This office knows just how dangerous this choice to serve these families is. And yet, they do the right thing.
If I were POTUS, this office and everyone in it, would receive the Medal of Honor. They earned it. The least we can do is let them know we see.
