And as the film is set in Rishikesh, and since Triptii is also from Uttaranchal, it all fell in the right place to complete the jigsaw puzzle” he added. Raaj also opened up on his reason for setting the story in the 90s, he said, "Setting the story in 90s was important, as back then there were no cell phones and internet, and CD players were introduced and in our story, a CD of someone’s first night gets stolen. Also I have an idea for the sequel of the film, which starts where this one ends .
