Monday, August 26, 2024 Bo Sun, the Chief Marketing Officer of Trip.com Group, has been honored with the prestigious title of ‘Marketing Professional of the Year’ at the 2024 CMO Asia Awards. This accolade celebrates trailblazers and exemplary strategies in branding and marketing.

Recognized for his influential contributions to marketing innovations, Sun played a crucial role in shaping and executing groundbreaking initiatives at Trip.com Group. The awarding panel highlighted Sun’s leadership in transitioning the company to a content-focused marketing approach post-pandemic.



This strategic shift not only aligned with contemporary trends but also fostered collaborations with various industry stakeholders, enhancing and reimagining the travel landscape. Under the guidance of Sun, Trip.com Group has effectively utilized its vast expertise and resources to establish impactful partnerships that enhance the way travelers interact with various destinations and services.

Sun has been at the forefront of initiating comprehensive collaborations across the entire spectrum of travel, including strategic alliances with major entities like Mastercard, as well as numerous tourism boards. These collaborations have led to the launch of pioneering projects such as the ‘Reconnecting with the World’ initiative and the ‘Super World Trip’ livestream events. The innovative nature of these projects has not only gained recognition from the selection panel but has also earned accolades from peers within the industry, consolidating Trip.
