The report emphasizes the company’s dedication to creating a positive long-term impact, structured around a comprehensive four-pillar ESG framework that focuses on community, family, environment, and stakeholders.

This marks the fifth year of Trip.com Group’s commitment to aligning its initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Trip.



com Group is dedicated to uplifting communities by fostering rural prosperity and ensuring traveler safety. The company collaborates with local communities and organizations to enhance employment opportunities, support public welfare in key areas, empower tourism professionals, and drive sustainable economic growth. These efforts contribute to the realization of the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, specifically targeting the eradication of poverty (SDG1) and promoting decent work and economic growth (SDG8).

In China, the Group’s commitment to community investment is evident through its engagement with nearly 100% of local suppliers for its Trip.com Country Retreat, which has created over 20,000 indirect jobs. This approach ensures that the economic benefits generated are reinvested in the local community, supporting social and economic development.

Additionally, the Group’s global travel SOS service, which guarantees traveler safety, has expanded its coverage to over 440 million passengers worldwide, managing more than 20,000 requests with a remarkable resolution success rate of 98%. As a company committed to supporting working parents, Trip.com Group continues to prioritize family-friendly policies and initiatives.

These efforts include creating a diverse and inclusive workspace that offers equitable opportunities for all employees, with a particular focus on empowering women. The company has implemented a hybrid work model across 117 offices in 39 countries, saving an estimated 900,000 hours of commuting time, and benefiting 60% of families with children. This initiative reflects the Group’s commitment to minimizing the challenges faced by employees in balancing professional and family life.

Gender diversity, equity, and inclusivity remain core to Trip.com Group’s values, as demonstrated by the latest workforce statistics: women represent 57.5% of the workforce, 61.

4% of entry-level roles, 43.5% of middle management, and 32.5% of senior roles.

Notably, over 60% of recently promoted senior managers were women with children. The company has also extended its childcare subsidy to 541 employees, with nearly all female employees returning to work post-maternity leave. Trip.

com Group acknowledges the intrinsic connection between nature and the travel experience. The company has committed to reducing its carbon footprint by promoting lower-emission travel options and has set an ambitious goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. As part of this commitment, the Group joined the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) and aims to introduce over 10,000 lower-carbon travel products, encouraging 100 million travelers to adopt more sustainable practices.

By 2023, the company has already made significant progress, offering consumers a range of lower-carbon travel options, including flights with reduced emissions and electric cars. The carbon data now covers 96% of flights, 56% of rental car services, and 98% of transportation services for business travel products. To date, over 72 million travelers have benefited from access to these lower-emission alternatives.

In recognition of its efforts, Trip.com Group’s corporate travel division, Trip.Biz, secured the EcoVadis Sustainability Silver rating, placing it among the top 15% of companies globally.

Trip.Biz has also introduced carbon management products, enabling corporate clients to allocate carbon budget quotas across departments, further promoting sustainable business travel. Trip.

com Group remains committed to transparent corporate governance and robust stakeholder engagement. The company prioritizes customer privacy, information security, and the promotion of sustainable practices across its supply chain. In the past year, Trip.

com Group established an ESG risk management committee to ensure company-wide adherence to these principles. Additionally, all employees completed comprehensive security and privacy training, averaging nearly 39 hours per person. The Group’s ESG strategy continues to drive key actions that add value to the travel industry and support the creation of a sustainable future.
