In June, he was arrested in Miami on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing. His attorney clarified that it was a misunderstanding and that there was no physical altercation involved. In 2023, the Houston-born artist faced accusations of assaulting a sound technician at Nebula, a New York City nightclub.

According to Rolling Stone, the technician named Mark allegedly requested that the rapper lower the volume, prompting Scott to punch him in the head and cause damage to sound equipment worth $12,000. Scott's representative, however, refuted the claim, pointing to a video from the event where Scott was DJ'ing. The representative argued that the video merely showed Scott's performance being disrupted by someone aggressively invading his personal space.
