Colorado Buffaloes star Travis Hunter is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable college football players in the country. It's rare to have a two-way player excel on both sides of the ball at a high level, but that is exactly what Hunter provides on a weekly basis. Despite playing nearly every defensive snap for Colorado this season, the junior sits fifth in the country in receiving yards (561), third in receptions (46) and third in receiving touchdowns (6) through five weeks.
Hunter also has two interceptions, 15 tackles, three pass breakups and a forced fumble at cornerback for the 4-1 Buffaloes. Hunter is at the top of the list in terms of the Heisman Trophy conversation thus far. And he is also in the running for the No.
