Thursday, November 14, 2024 Travelport, a global leader in travel technology, and All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest airline, have announced a transformative partnership through a multi-source content distribution agreement. This collaboration marks Travelport as the first global distribution system (GDS) to secure a New Distribution Capability (NDC) agreement with ANA, positioning Travelport as a pivotal player in advancing modern retailing solutions within the travel industry. The agreement designates Travelport as a “Friendly Partner” of ANA, enabling the airline to enhance its distribution strategy while simplifying booking processes for travel agents and travelers alike.

By mid-2025, ANA’s NDC content will be integrated into Travelport+, ensuring seamless access for Travelport-connected agencies worldwide. This partnership underscores ANA’s commitment to enhancing its retailing capabilities, leveraging Travelport’s state-of-the-art technology to deliver enriched, personalized content. The integration of ANA’s NDC offerings on Travelport+ will enable travel agencies to access a comprehensive range of ANA’s products, including ancillary services, through a single, user-friendly platform.



Travelport+ has been specifically designed to streamline modern retailing processes for travel agencies, offering powerful tools such as APIs, Smartpoint Cloud, and Smartpoint desktop solutions. These tools enable agencies to search, sell, and service multi-source co.
