This is smalltown America writ large Jagged mountains dominate the skyline in a picture postcard snap on the road out from Denver I’m driving west from Denver towards Parachute, Colorado. The name alone lights up my imagination, conjuring images of outlaw gangs and the Wild West.
Through the snow-capped mountains, my odometer keeps rolling and the temperature gauge creeps up the further I head towards the Utah border..
