The former soldier, 29, recently shot to fame on the BBC show, with herself and fellow Faithful Jake Brown winning the £94,600 prize fund.
However, just weeks after returning home after filming, her life was turned upside down when Sophie was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer , following the discovery of a lump in her breast which rapidly grew. And despite Sophie - whom she shares two-year-old twins Hudson and Harley with - getting the all-clear earlier this year, Leanne still recalls the 'terrifying' fear she felt that Sophie wouldn't survive the ordeal. In a candid new interview, Leanne opened up on the tough time for their young family, remembering the two-week wait to see if Sophie's cancer had spread as her darkest moment.
Remarking how the whole thing felt like an 'out of body experience', Leanne told The Mirror : 'We didn’t know if she’d live. It was utter.
