Clouds look to linger about much of the region this morning, but then by the afternoon, we will get a bit of sun peeking on through. High temperatures look to warm up into the upper 70s and low 80s throughout much of the region, with winds also remaining rather light for a gorgeous day in the middle of the week. Tomorrow we look to have a bit more sun early on, with temperatures warming into the low 80s and then a chance for another round of thunderstorms developing in the afternoon.

Early in the day winds look to stay mild out of the southeast, but by the late afternoon and early evening, the cold front will bring the chance for thunderstorms to the area. Main risks currently look to be marginally severe, with the highest threat being strong winds as a line of storms moves on through. As the front swings on through, after the storms have passed winds will then stay mainly out of the west with a bit of a breeze overnight, which continues into Friday as well.

Through Labor Day weekend, we are tracking temperatures still near 80° for Friday and Saturday, with plenty of sun throughout. By Sunday and Monday, we are cooling off into the low 70s, but we still have sunny skies for a gorgeous weekend. ADVERTISEMENT.
