TORRINGTON – Our beloved Tracey passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Aug. 17, 2024. Tracey fought a long, hard, courageous battle with a rare bile duct cancer.
She fought her battle with great strength and determination, always concerned with her family. Tracey was born on a beautiful day on April 22, 1970, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Stamford.
Tracey was a wonderful, sweet soul. She had great devotion and love for her husband, her family, her friends. her beloved babies Thunder and Lightning.
She was a dedicated employee and loved her job. Tracey worked for H. Muehlstein & Co.
/Ravago Americas for 31 years. She worked as a business systems analyst. Tracey was a graduate of the University of Connecticut and held a degree in economics.
Tracey is survived by her husband of 20 years, Daniel J. Payne of Torrington; her parents Robert and Georgianne Latosh of Marlow, N.H.
; her sister Barbara Latosh and her husband James Holcomb, of Torrington; and nieces and nephews; the Payne family; and her Aunt Julia and an extended family in Kentucky. We have been loved and blessed by all the wonderful years with our sweet Tracey. Services will be Friday, Aug.
23, at 7 p.m. at Phalen Funeral Home, 285 Migeon Ave.
, Torrington; friends may call before the service from 5 to 7 p.m. The burial will be private.
