These remedies, when combined with yoga, can improve respiratory health and boost overall immunity. 7 Ayurvedic Remedies To Keep Respiratory Health In CheckAyurveda, a holistic health system, recommends simple daily procedures as part of "Dincharya" (daily routine) to strengthen the respiratory system and ease breathing in polluted environments.



1. Gandusha (Oil Gargling) Gargling with sesame oil or warm water after brushing your teeth can act as a filter for pollutants. This practice prevents dental issues and reduces the chances of harmful particles entering the body.

2. Nasya (Nasal Oil Application) Applying 2 drops of warm ghee or oil (such as sesame oil) in each nostril at bedtime conditions the nasal mucosa, preventing dust and pollutants from entering the respiratory tract. - Additional Tip: Before stepping outside, apply a small amount of ghee or oil in the nostrils using your fingertip.
