Additionally, the nation emphasizes connectivity, with two international airports catering to global visitors and offering luxury options and more affordable stays through platforms like Airbnb.
Under Minister Connolly’s leadership, Turks and Caicos has embraced a conservative and responsible approach to tourism development. “A feasibility study has guided us in placing the right development in the right location,” she explained. This method ensures that the growth of the tourism sector aligns with the natural beauty of the islands while maintaining their unique character.
The tourism board’s data-driven marketing efforts have been instrumental in sustaining this balance. “We have to preserve what we have, and that’s why our approach is focused on sustaining our position as a premier luxury destination,” said Minister Connolly.
