The world is filled with restomods right but we are not complaining because Touring has made a beautiful Ferrari 550 Maranello restomod which is called the Veloce12. When somebody does a custom Ferrari, it is always a hit or miss with people. The Ferrari purists don’t like anything out of the ordinary but if there is someone we trust, it is Touring, the coach building company which was responsible for many beautiful Ferrari’s and Alfa Romeos.

They have restomodded a 550 Maranello which is is one of our favourite Ferrari’s of all time and it is indeed a beautiful thing. Touring takes a donor 550 Maranello, strips it down to bare metal and reconstructs the whole car with a new body panels. Everything is smoothened out and the 550 Maranello is enhanced in its design rather than having a complete overhaul.

There are LED headlights and taillights to give it that modern touch and some new wheels behind which sit a set of Brembo brakes. On the inside there is a fully customized leather interior. Every switch panel has been touched by Touring to offer a more enhanced version of itself and are all machine finished.

The leather is hand crafted and Touring says that all the materials were sourced from Italy. Powering the Veloce12 is a 5.5L V12 engine which has been enhanced to produce 503 bhp and 568 Nm of torque all paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Veloce12 will do 0-100 kmph in 4.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 320 kmph. Touring will make only 30 examples of the Veloce12 and it will cost you around €690,000 which does not include the cost of the car.

Production will start from early 2025..
