In a video, the TikTok user details the process: "First, take a banana, cut it into pieces, and mash it well in a bowl. Bananas are high in fibre, but low in calories. High fibre intake is linked to reduced body weight.

Next, add the juice of one lemon, and mix well. "Lemon juice is packed with antioxidants, vitamins and fibre, which boost your metabolic rate and aid in detoxification. Peel half a cucumber and grate it into a new bowl.

Cucumbers are low in calories and high in water." They then recommend tossing in some grated ginger for its reputed benefits in accelerating weight loss and curbing hunger. After mixing all the components in a pot with three cups of boiling water and letting it steep for a few hours, the blend should be strained.
