Thursday, July 18, 2024 Topgolf, a leading name in modern golf entertainment, has appointed Erin Chamberlin as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective from July 22. Chamberlin brings with her extensive experience from PENN Entertainment Inc., North America’s foremost gaming entertainment provider, where she held the role of Senior Vice President of Regional Operations since 2019.

In her new position, Chamberlin will oversee Topgolf’s worldwide venue operations, encompassing player experience, operational standards, technology implementation, food and beverage advancement, supply chain management, and culinary operations. She joins the Executive Leadership Team under the leadership of Topgolf CEO Artie Starrs. “Erin’s extensive background as a leader in one of the most complex and dynamic hospitality categories will be a great benefit to all of us at Topgolf,” said Artie Starrs.



“We’re fortunate to have found a leader who has the expertise for the role and embraces our brand’s playful spirit as we further strengthen and solidify the unique Topgolf experience we deliver to Players.” Erin Chamberlin brings more than two decades of extensive experience managing large, consumer-focused enterprises in fiercely competitive sectors to Topgolf. While at PENN, Erin managed operations for nine of the company’s nationwide network of casinos, supervised PENN’s horse racing operations, and chaired the PENN Women resource group.

Before her tenure at PENN, she held key operational leadership positions at Caesars Entertainment, overseeing properties such as Horseshoe Baltimore, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Las Vegas, Horseshoe Hammond, and Caesars Atlantic City. “As a Topgolf Player myself, I’m beyond excited for the opportunity to bring my gaming entertainment experience into the modern golf space,” Chamberlin said. “It’s an exciting time to join the brand, and I look forward to working with the accomplished teams responsible for the day-to-day success of our venues and Player experience.
