Powell was promoting Twisters alongside co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, and the pair were asked if we would get a continuation of Jones’ Normal People or a Top Gun 3 first. What did Glen Powell say in his Top Gun 3 update? Powell teased fans of the high-flying series with a casual, “I mean, I have a date, ” but he gave a stern, “Absolutely not, ” when asked if he would share any more information.

In recent weeks, Powell has been hinting at a third Top Gun movie. On the Today show, he said it would be ”happening at some point,” and he and Tom Cruise expressed a desire to work together again. Now, he’s blowing through the box office once more as the lead in , a follow-up to the 1996 movie Twister starring Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt.

Next for Powell is a reimagining of , directed by Edgar Wright. Neil became a horror fan from just a nightmare-inducing glimpse of the Ghoulies VHS cover and a book on how to draw ghosts. It escalated from there and now that's almost all he writes and talks about.
