With its crystal-clear waters, stunning sandy shores, and unique landscapes, Olbia has the perfect combination of tranquility and beauty for those looking to escape the crowds and unwind ahead of summer. Whether you’re looking for secluded coves, long stretches of golden sand, or vibrant blue seas, Olbia’s beaches are truly some of the most pristine in Europe , as described by travel website TravelRadar. That’s why it is becoming a popular travel destination, with a new report naming it as Europe’s top coastal destination.
The Expedia Spring Travel Outlook found that Gothenburg tops the chart as the most trending destination with searches up 410 percent year-on-year. This is followed by Fukuoka at 175 percent and Olbia at 155 percent, with the travel giant explaining that the two coastal destinations are known for their “beautiful waterfronts, vibrant food scene, and rich history.” One of Olbia's crowning jewels is Spiaggia Pittulongu (Pittulongu Beach), which located just a short drive from Olbia, features soft white sand and warm, shallow waters.
The beach is framed by scenic hills and pine trees, creating a peaceful, almost untouched atmosphere that makes it ideal for those who want to get away from the masses. Beach-goers can easily reach Pittulongu by car, and the beach is accessible with plenty of parking and a few local eateries nearby to enjoy a bite to eat. A short drive from Pittulongu is Spiaggia di Bados (Bados Beach), a family-friendly spot with stunn.
