It's already been a hectic high school girls basketball season in a few states accustomed to producing nationally-ranked squads. Texas, Florida, and Oklahoma have thrown more contenders into the fray with every passing week. Norman (OK), led by 5-star Kansas commit Keeley Parks, wasn't even on the bubble a week ago, but is now in the top 25 after knocking off Putnam City North.

9) Top 25 High School Girls Basketball Rankings Ontario Christian continued doing what top-ranked teams do, blowing out fellow CIF-Southern Section powers Windward 81-54 and Bishop Montgomery 80-40. The Eagles put a hurting on two of Florida's other top teams, steamrolling Dr. Phillips 71-43 and American Heritage 78-38.

When we talk about starting the season with a bang, this is it looks like. The Mustangs opened the year with three wins over nationally-ranked competition that were each successively more impressive – 54-46 against Bullis, 62-38 against Central Pointe Christian Academy, and 47-24 over IMG Academy. The Lions weren't quite as impressive last week as the prior ones, but still got the job done.

They held off in-state foes Thomson 46-44 and Langston Hughes 62-55. Still holding its position, roughly, despite another loss. IMG mustered just 24 points in a 23-point loss to Bishop McNamara, but not before picking up a nice 12-point win over Duncanville.
