Tom Cruise will be starring in the next movie from Oscar winner Alejandro G. Iñàrritu and it was just announced that six more actors have joined the cast! Iñàrritu is the director of such movies as Babel , Birdman , and The Revenant . He won three Oscars for Birdman - Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay – and another Best Director win for The Revenant .
Deadline reports that the upcoming untitled film “centers on the most powerful man in the world, who embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything.” Tom has been attached to the movie since February 2024 and he’s also a producer on the film.
