An “insider close to Brady” told the publication in an exclusive that the former New England Patriots quarterback learned about the pregnancy “a few months ago” when Bündchen told the children they share, 14-year-old, Benjamin, and 11-year-old daughter, Vivian. Brady also has a 17-year-old son, Jack, with his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan.
News that Bündchen, 44, is expecting her third child, her first with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, broke on Monday . Brady, 47, and Bündchen finalized their divorce in October 2022 . Bündchen began taking Jiu-Jitsu lessons with Valente in December 2021 , and Glamour reported that the pair began dating in June 2023.
In an interview with the New York Times earlier this year, she described her new relationship as “very different” and “very honest.” According to Us Weekly , while the news of Bündchen’s pregnancy was “hard to digest” for Brady at first, he is reportedly “ultimately happy” for her, has “moved on,” and is only in contact with her about their kids.
