Tuesday, August 27, 2024 Japan Airlines (JAL) and Oriental Land Co., Ltd. are set to introduce the “JAL Fantastic Journey Express,” a specially designed Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
Beginning in late October, this aircraft will operate domestic flights across Japan for a limited period. Its design celebrates the new Fantasy Springs themed port that opened at Tokyo DisneySea® Park on June 6, 2024. This collaboration marks the sixth partnership between JAL, an official sponsor, and Tokyo Disney Resort®, dating back to the opening of Tokyo DisneySea in 2001.
Fantasy Springs, unique in its offerings, features three themed areas inspired by Disney’s Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan films, along with the latest Disney-themed accommodation, the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel. The aircraft’s exterior is adorned with images of iconic characters such as Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Peter Pan, set against backdrops of magical springs, Arendelle Castle, Rapunzel’s Tower, and Captain Hook’s ship, the Jolly Roger, bringing the essence of Fantasy Springs to the skies. Inflight Experience Passengers onboard the “JAL Fantastic Journey Express” will be treated to unique Fantasy Springs-themed elements, including specially designed headrest covers and paper cups, offering an immersive experience from takeoff to landing.
Additionally, the “JAL Happy Dream Campaign 2024” is currently running, giving participants a chance to win prizes, including exclusive invitations to JAL’s private events at Tokyo DisneySea.
