The Tennessee Titans are off to a disappointing start to the 2024 season, as the team is 0-3 heading into Week 4 and has gotten there in the most frustrating way possible. A primary reason for Tennessee's failures is the incompetence of quarterback Will Levis. The 25-year-old was expected to have a breakout sophomore campaign but has struggled with turnovers and sustaining drives through three games, and Tennessee's offense is scoring just 16 points per as a result.
Due to Levis' early-season stumbles, Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine wants to see general manager Ran Carthon target Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold in free agency next offseason. Maybe Will Levis proves he deserves another shot next season. Maybe he doesn't.
Either way, the Titans should be prepared to at least add a veteran who could compete for the job. Sam Darnold is on pace to become the latest signal-caller to enjoy a post-hype breakout as a serviceable starter. If the Vikings want to transition to J.
J. McCarthy next season, then Darnold could be a surprisingly in-demand free agent. Additionally, Ballentine thinks Tennessee should add another playmaker in the draft by selecting Michigan tight end Colston Loveland.
The offensive line is still a major area of concern, but adding a tight end who can be a two-way weapon is another. Right now, the Titans just aren't getting much out of the tight end room. Colston Loveland would immediately be the team's best tight end.
