Vadodara: Minister of state for home Harsh Sanghavi flagged off the Tiranga Yatra in the city on Monday. The event was organized by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) as part of state-wide celebrations. The procession began from Navlakhi Ground and culminated at Gandhi Nagargruh in the heart of the city.

Many participants joined the rally, even as citizens queued up along the route. Sanghavi said the processions being held across the state were a grand success. “All records are being broken in the state.



The yatra in Rajkot saw a large gathering, followed by the one in Surat yesterday,” Sanghavi said. The minister added that participation in the events was voluntary, and no mobilization was required. He pointed out that even the rain took a breather to facilitate the yatra in Rajkot, Surat and Vadodara.
