2025 is a productive year for Tim Yap! On the sidelines of his contract signing with Sparkle Tuesday, the celebrity host said he is gearing up for a big TV comeback this year. “For my personal goals for my career, I want to continue hosting more and do more television. I told Joy [Marcelo] that this year is like my big TV comeback,” Tim said.
According to the eventologist, now is the time to pursue one of his first loves which is television after working on events left and right. “So I'm excited to do more TV projects with them [Sparkle] this year. And you know every time we're together, we always talk about things that give birth to all our minds and creative spirit.
We're always collaborating on things. We're always giving birth to new projects, and new concepts and I'm excited to put these concepts into provision. I'm excited to make it happen,” he said.
At the signing, GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes said Tim will also be working on some acting projects this year. “I think hindi magiging complete yung character of Tim in the entertainment industry without him also appearing in entertainment shows not just as a host, but also in acting,” Gozon-Valdes said.
“So that's one of the projects that you can look out for this year. We are going to have Tim in one of our drama shows.” Tim is no stranger to GMA Network where he hosted the talk show “The Tim Yap Show” that aired from 2013 to 2015.
