TikTok prankster Mizzy failed to turn up at a fashion show after claiming he was going to change his life around with plans to be a model and actor. Mizzy, whose real name is Bacari-Bronze O'Garro, 19, from Stoke Newington, said he had a family emergency that prevented him attending a Christine Campbell event where he was due to be one of the catwalk models at London Fashion Show last Saturday. He became a notorious figure online last year .

His antics included filming himself walking into strangers' homes, running off with a woman's dog and harassing people at a train station. In April, Mizzy was convicted of snatching a woman's iPhone in Highbury New Park in June 2022 and was ordered to pay £500 to the victim, take part in 15 days of rehabilitation activity, and do 100 hours of unpaid work. He also received a community order which banned him from posting videos online until November 2025.

Last Saturday evening the fashion show was held at the stunning graffiti-clad Leake Street Arches near Waterloo but there were no signs of Mizzy. The venue was packed with social media influencers, as models donned stylish fedoras and fascinators designed by Campbell in luxurious fabrics which set the audience roaring into loud cheers as they strolled past. The show was organised by The Sound Bank, a leading events firm which Mizzy has previously interned for as a digital marketing PR.

But as the lights undimmed, it was clear one model who had been billed as a star attraction, was notably missing from the line-up. Asked where Mizzy was, an organiser said: "He hasn't turned up. He was supposed to be here hours ago.

It's a shame because he's missed all this." Mizzy explains he had to 'put family first' Mizzy later told MyLondon : "I unfortunately missed the fashion show which I intended to go to due to unexpected circumstances consisting of an important family emergency which I will not go into due to personal reasons. "In addition to this, I have been keeping up my positive character development to be a role model for my community and my child.

Hence why I put my family first, family over everything. I’m gutted that it didn’t go the way I planned, I’m still in works with The Sound Bank and they understand the situation I was in. Expect future projects coming from us, everything happens for a reason.

" Mizzy has previously vowed to turn his life around following his conviction in June. In a pinned statement on his X profile, he wrote: "I plan to keep my head up and work as hard as usual for my son, but being a popular person makes it a little harder, ngl. Future employers, if you are watching, just know that I'm willing and ready to work as hard as I can.

All I need is a chance." The 19-year-old had previously told the Sound Bank that he could not appear due to stage fright. The Sound Bank told MyLondon : "We are also gutted that Bacari did not turn up.

Having now spoke with him he has said that leading up to the show stage fright got the better of him but he is determined to build his confidence and deeply hopes he will be given a further chance and future opportunities for LFW 2025.".
