superstar known for her viral videos has tragically died after falling from the fifth floor of an apartment building. Kubra Aykut passed away in Istanbul's Sultanbeyli district in last Monday. An investigation is underway following the shocking incident on September 23.
Further reports say a suicide note was found by authorities with the 26-year-old's body. After she was found dead, Aykut's body was taken for a post-mortem at a private hospital in the Turkish capital. On her Instagram mere hours before her death, she wrote: "I've gathered my energy, but I can't seem to gain weight.
I lose a kilogram every day. I don't know what to do; I urgently need to gain weight." Her last post showed her laughing with two other people.
The caption read: "What do you think, it's not good when I call again." Family, friends and other stars are all expected to attend her funeral in her hometown of Busra. Dexerto reported that Turkish influencer Dilan Polat was among the mourners, along with her lawyer and believed long-term partner Enes Çetinkaya.
Kubra had over 1 million followers on the platform, with another 220,000 admirers following her Instagram. She gained notoriety for her videos including her clip of a wedding without a groom. The famous clip saw her hold an elaborate wedding without a partner.
