Tigirlily Gold has been nominated for more country music hardware. The sister duo of Kendra Olson and Krista Slaubaugh from Hazen are nominated for two People’s Choice Country Awards : Group/Duo of 2024, and Group/Duo Song of 2024, for "I Tried a Ring On." Seven others are nominated in each category.

The awards show will be televised on NBC and streamed on Peacock at 7 p.m. Central time on Thursday, Sept.

" Olson and Slaubaugh in May won their first major award, New Duo or Group of the Year from the Academy of Country Music. The sisters earlier this year were nominated for two other major awards but didn't win -- Breakthrough Female Video of the Year and Duo/Group Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards, both for the video of their hit song "Shoot Tequila," which has been streamed on Spotify more than 18 million times. The sisters have lived in Nashville since 2017.

They've signed a deal with Monument Records, performed at the Grand Ole Opry, opened for megastar Carrie Underwood, sung the national anthem at National Football League games, and had a No. 1 hit on iTunes -- "Somebody Does" in February 2021. Last month they released their debut album, "Blonde.
