Earlier this year, the couple announced the arrival of their baby boy, Akaay, on February 15. As always, Vamika's face was not visible, but it seemed like the father-daughter were enjoying a date, while mum Anushka tended to newborn Akaay.

She shared a video from a food and snack brand she endorses, announcing a meet and greet event in Mumbai on September 4. In the video, Anushka wrote, “See you soon guys!” This speculates Anushka's return to Mumbai after Akaay’s birth. She was in Mumbai earlier during the IPL, attending a few matches.
At that time, she showed Akaay’s face to the paparazzi but requested them not to take pictures. Fans are now thrilled at the possibility of Anushka being in Mumbai again and hope Virat will join her. They also hope this meet and greet will be in person and not just virtual.
