Pune: The Dighi police are searching for three men who stabbed a 28-year-old private company employee to death and assaulted his two friends after a dispute over the purchase of a used mobile handset . The incident occurred late on Monday in Bhosari . The victim's sister lodged a complaint against the trio on Tuesday.
The police have identified the deceased as Akash Pardeshi, a resident of Bhosari. Pardeshi's friends, Kartik Sabe and Jayesh Patekar, suffered injuries in the attack. Dighi assistant inspector Nitin Ambhore, while talking to TOI, said, "Late on Tuesday night, when Sabe, Pardeshi, and Patekar met the suspect and told him to make the payment, the suspect and his two accomplices thrashed the victims, stabbed Pardeshi and fled from the spot along with his two accomplices.
