Friday, October 4, 2024 The highly anticipated Thompson Palm Springs has officially opened its doors, spanning across two-and-a-half city blocks along the iconic Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs. Positioned as a stylish retreat for both locals and visitors, the hotel celebrates the area’s signature modern architecture and serves as a gateway to the nearby Design District, known for its thriving art, leisure, and business scene. With this new addition, Thompson Palm Springs promises to become a vibrant destination for culture, creativity, and culinary experiences.

This exciting new property marks the first collaboration between Dallas-based HALL Group and Hyatt under the Thompson Hotels brand. It boasts 168 bungalow-inspired guest rooms, including 18 luxurious suites, each featuring private balconies and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Elevating the guest experience, Thompson Palm Springs will soon debut its exclusive adults-only Upper Stories tower, set in a secluded area of the hotel.



This enclave will include 42 additional guest rooms, five suites, and a private pool and lounge for Upper Stories guests, offering a refined and intimate experience. Thompson Palm Springs is set to be a haven for food lovers with its signature restaurant, Lola Rose Grand Mezze, led by Executive Chef Quentin Garcia. This Levantine-inspired dining destination opens up to a stunning pool and swim club that overlooks the San Jacinto Mountains.
