This Morning fans were treated to a glimpse of host Siân Welby's first child, Ruby, as she brought her beautiful baby girl onto the set of the ITV show for the Bank Holiday edition. She shares the child with Jake Beckett, and on Instagram , when Ruby was first born, she posted images of her daughter wearing a jumper bearing her name. She also shared images of herself and her partner cradling their child at home, along with the caption, “Our little Ruby.
” As Sian introduced Monday's show, she joked if she was not presenting she would be doing multiple laps around the park with her baby girl rather than enjoying a relaxed morning in bed. Her co-presenter Craig Doyle cooed over Ruby as the camera panned across to Jake as he held her in his arms. Later in the show, guest Gyles Brandreth commented how "lovely it was to see the baby" as he told Sian how beautiful she was.
Craig had introduced Ruby by saying: "You have brought along a very special guest. The newest, tiniest, cutest member of the This Morning family. The nation curls up with the cuteness.
" Sian said: "Little Ruby, it's so sweet to have her with me today because I was quite nervous about leaving her." Jake chimed in with: "She did a big poo before we left," to which the host replied: "Oh, great." Craig joked: "I'm not going to say what I was going to say.
We are all nervous, you know." The presenter has been keeping fans up to date on her Instagram account about the realities of parenting. Earlier in August she shared a photo of herself getting ready in the mirror with baby Ruby, saying: "The reality of my morning: I was so excited to be live on @capitalofficial breakfast at 8am to announce that I will be back on the show September 2nd, however to make that happen I had to start at 6am preparing for it! "From rocking Ruby with my foot whilst I ate my cereal, to sterilising bottles in the microwave whilst I dashed for a wee, it was a mission! "At one point I was doing my mascara with one hand, whilst holding a bottle in another - feeding Ruby moments before going live so she wouldn't cry while I was on air! "Long story short, in the rush of finding a clean top to wear and changing another wet nappy I didn't have time to put any trousers on and so this is me, live on FaceTime, to the nation.
