This Morning guest was reduced to tears just minutes into the show after receiving a surprise visit from David Domoney. During Wednesday’s (September 18) episode of the ITV hit daytime show, presenters Ben Shepherd and Cat Deeley were back on our TV screens. The duo revealed that garden expert David, 61, was on his way to surprise one lucky viewer with a complete garden makeover.
Ben started off by saying: “We are starting today’s show with a very exciting surprise for one of our viewers because David Domoney is going to attempt another live front garden makeover in the show.” Cat continued: “Previously David has pulled off some incredible transformations but can he do it again today. He is at a secret location today and he is ready to go with his team.
” The camera then cut to David, who was live outside a viewer's house. Cat added: “Good Morning David.” David was eager to get stuck in as he said: “Morning.
Yes we are ready to get started on the transformation but it’s a big challenge as we have two hours to transform a garden. “As you know with a lot of transformations you wonder if people get them done on time but this time you get the chance to see it in real time.” Walking straight into the house, David continued: “Now the lady who is going to get the garden makeover is Rebecca.
” Just minutes into their encounter, Rebecca was left speechless as she burst into tears as David offered his support and wrapped his arms around her. While standing in her front garden, David announced: “We are going to be transforming your garden. Are you ok? I’ve heard you need a bit of cheering up because it's been a bit hard the past few years.
” Rebecca was in tears as she revealed: “Yes I was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) two and a half years ago and last year I fell down the stairs and I was in hospital for two months over Christmas , where I was diagnosed with short term memory loss and nerve damage.” She added: “I keep thinking I’m 53 but I was 51 yesterday.” David jumped in: “Aw it was your birthday yesterday, what a lovely treat for you.
” Turning his attention to the garden, David added: “Well it’s a lovely little spot. Our aim is to transform this and I heard that you have a love for Mama Mia so I’ll see what I can do.” This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and ITVX.
