This Morning has been hit with backlash after they aired a throwback clip of Alison Hammond's memorable interview with two Hollywood icons. The 49-year-old presenter sat down with Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling back in 2017 and the chat ended up going viral when she had both actors in stitches with her inimitable interview style, as they sat down to discuss their roles in Blade Runner 2049. During Monday's (August 5) episode of the ITV daytime show, Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle replayed a segment of Alison's now famous chat as part of a segment called Alison's legendary look back.

However, the decision to revisit the interview rubbed with ITV viewers the wrong way, with some rushing to their keyboards to complain about the programme. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter , one fan moaned: "Let's look back on something that came out seven years ago!" Another added: "Another repeat VT filler from years ago with Hammond." A third person said: "It's 'unforgettable' because you lot keep repeating it.

" A fourth social media user said: "Must be a slow news week. Reshowing an old interview and there's not much else on the running order." Someone else agreed: "I see they're short on content again on #ThisMorning.

" Alison previously admitted that left concerned she would lose her job after conducting an alcohol-fuelled interview with Harrison and Ryan. The chaotic chat saw the trio in stitches as they drank whisky, occasionally talking about the epic sci-fi film. Reflecting on the hilarious encounter more than six years later, the 49-year-old shared her fears that she would be fired because of it.

"I thought, ‘I’m going to get sacked’. I just laughed the whole way through," Alison previously told The Mirror . "At the end, Harrison came up to me and said, 'Alison, you’ve made my day today.

'" Despite the memorable meeting, Alison confessed that when she reunited with the Indiana Jones actor shortly after, he had some trouble placing her. She added: "Then, a few days later, we did a Zoom interview and he didn’t know who I was..

. didn’t have a clue." The pair reunited once again on This Morning in December 2022, when Harrison was promoting his Paramount+ series, 1923.

Alison was granted the only UK TV interview with the Star Wars actor at the time and he reportedly requested the daytime host to conduct the interview. This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am.
