08.24” (August 27, 2024). Just as fans suspected, the Britpop band shared that they will tour the UK and Ireland with a number of shows lined up during a tour that will see the band performing multiple concerts at stadiums including four at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Other venues on the tour list include the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Heaton Park in Manchester, Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium and Croke Park in Dublin. The band rose to global success in the mid-‘90s with hits like “Wonderwall,” “Champagne Supernova” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” Further buoyed by their Oasis came to define the Britpop phenomenon, which offered a brighter alternative to the grunge music that dominated the airwave in the first half of the decade.
Both Liam and Noel Gallagher — the band’s frontman and primary songwriter, respectively — shared the tour details to their X accounts, confirming the brother-duo will return to the stage. The two were known to have an ignominious feud that caused the band to break up 15 years ago but their reunion suggests they’re ready to bury it away. Beyond the Gallaghers, the other original Oasis members — drummer Tony McCaroll, bassist Paul McGuigan and guitarist Paul Arthurs — are not expected to join the reunion, There are currently no Canadian dates included on the tour.
