Login or signup to continue reading Opening in Wollongong in 2017, Charli and Kate Hair Salon is a family business which was named after the owner's twin daughters, Charlotte and Kate.
The salon expanded to a second location in Shellharbour and opened an online store, selling products all over Australia. In July 2024, the salon launched its brand of hair care products Cheveux, starting with a hair mask and hair serum. The products are now finalists for Best New Packaging and Design at the Australian Hair Fashion Awards.

. they were very, very excited to see their name and their brand on that platform," she said. "The whole family was jumping around quite happy.
" For the customers The nominated hair mask and hair serum was developed over two years and inspired by questions from customers. "We'd get asked all the time 'Would you guys ever consider doing your own product?' and there just became a point where we were just 'Why not?'," Ms Gorgievski said. Ms Gorgievski knew what her customers wanted from working inside the salon.
