Sometimes horsepower just isn’t enough. Just ask the Ferrari California T driver who recently found himself stuck on a beach in India. The convertible may pack a 500-hp V-8, but it needed the help of an old-fashioned oxcart to free itself from the sand.

The incident occurred recently when a pair of tourists got the bright idea to drive their black and white California T directly onto Revdanda Beach, which is located around 80 miles south of Mumbai, for a picnic, reports Road & Track . What may have seemed like a nice way to spend an afternoon quickly turned into a nightmare when the car became stuck. Luckily for the pair, a man in an oxcart soon passed.



The mammal-powered vehicle, which humans have been using since as far back as 4400 B.C., turned out to be just what the situation was called, according to a video uploaded to X by Pune Post .
