It is the latest trend in the industry, where a good product alone isn’t enough to attract customers. After all, brands are always selling a lifestyle, and experiencing that in their own space turns fantasy into reality.
The latest addition is Sunnies, which has opened its new boutique in SM Mall of Asia (SM MOA). Unlike its earlier stores, this recently unveiled space offers more. Dubbed Sunnies World, the store brings together Sunnies Studios, Sunnies Face, and now Sunnies Flask and Sunnies Coffee in one chic location.
This follows the success of Sunnies World in Cebu and SM Megamall. The difference is that the SM Mall of Asia store is much grander—500 square meters to be exact—making it the brand’s biggest store yet. It was a serendipitous moment for founders Eric Dee, Bea Soriano Dee, Martine Cajucom, Georgina Wilson, and Jessica Wilson, as Sunnies first debuted its kiosk in 2013 at SM MOA.
“Ever since we launched, we wanted to change the way people shop in the Philippines,” Georgina tells Manila Bulletin Lifestyle. “This has always been our vision, especially after launching here over 10 years ago. We want to be a place that is not just about buying things—it’s also about experiencing, relaxing, and enjoying a cup of coffee.
