A SHOPPER has left people in stitches after stocking up on a major 50 cent bargain at Penneys. Colleen Dwyer alerted her followers on TikTok after making the discovery in her local store. She wrote: "They're for a wedding don't worry.
" Colleen can be seen in front of a stand with rows of flip flops, in a range of colours. In a caption inserted into the post, she wrote: "POV: Penneys have a sale on their flip-flops." Her basket is full of blue flip-flops, and then Colleen moves on to the yellow ones.
She ends up with double the amount of flip-flops that will fit in the basket, and laughs as she tries to wheel it. Heartbreakingly the flip-flops all fall off the tower as she wheels it to the checkouts, leading her to have to pick them all back up. As she wheels the basket she has to keep one hand on top of the flip-flops to make sure they didn't fall off.
She then can be seen walking out with two huge bags full of flip-flops. Viewers took to the comments section to share their opinions. In the comments, Colleen revealed that the flip-flops were just 50 cent each.
One person commented: "Slay". Someone else simply said "stop" while another follower said they were "Minion colours". The video has been watched over 113,000 times, with almost 6,000 likes.
It comes as Penneys have dropped new Birkenstock dupe clogs - and they are €136 cheaper than the real deal. The Edit Suede Clogs have landed in stores across the country. The camel coloured clogs feature a smart buckle and a contoured leather insole, making them super comfortable for all-day wear.
Similar to the Birkenstock Boston Soft Footbed Clogs, the high street pair will save shoppers . The dupe clogs retail at a bargain €24, while the luxury brand will set you back €160. Penneys’ chiefs said the clogs follow a “classic and casual” trend.
