Peter Wright says he’ll ‘stick to the day job’ The Yorkshire Vet star Peter Wright appeared on Monday's episode of This Morning to speak about the popular Channel 5 show making a return. Now, in its 19th series, the veterinary show has been entertaining the nation for many years. However, the fan-favourite revealed he didn't believe the show would be as successful as it's become.
He said: "We're in series 19 now, we've just celebrated our 200th episode. I did say to Paul Stead, who makes the production and makes the progamme, I said, 'Paul, nobody will watch this, you're wasting your money'. This is a breaking showbiz story and is being constantly updated.
