. Was that a fair result? "It was a tough game. A really tough game.
But I cannot question how hard our players tried out there. I thought they gave absolutely everything. For some of the youngsters and inexperienced players, they’ll learn massively from that game tonight.
"We got caught a couple of times, stepped in when we didn’t need to. Hopefully they’ll be better for that the next time and the time after that. But I thought the effort and what the players put in, people should be really proud of that.
" Are you content with the performance then? "Not content with the result. But I can’t question how hard the players tried. What needs to happen with that is the learnings that go with it.
When you play the world champions, you know how clinical they are, how effective they are, the power they can bring off the bench with the 6-2 split. You know the pressure that can bring on us.
