Jason 'Sundance' Head, the winner of The Voice season 11, narrowly escaped a potentially fatal gunshot wound. He was released from the hospital a day after suffering a gunshot wound to his abdomen while at his ranch in Texas . His wife, Misty Head, shared details about her husband's recovery and posted a photo of his bullet-riddled tank top on Facebook.

She wrote: "He was released late last night [and] we got home very early this morning." Misty added that the journey home was tough for him as his medication wore off and he bled heavily through his dressings.
