The Voice UK came to a conclusion last night on ITV1 as singer Ava Mannings was crowned the champion of this year's series. She took to the stage with her coaches Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher , as she performed one last time and was met by confetti and thunderous applause from the studio audience. The performer beat fellow finalists Deb Orah, Storry, Billy and Louie to the crown as she won a recording deal with Universal, a £50,000 cash prize and a holiday to Universal Resort in Orlando.
Despite being happy for Ava, viewers at home have been taking to social media to think ahead for the next series and want one round of the show to be brought back. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter , one viewer said: "#thevoiceuk needs to bring back the battles and public vote @ itv @thevoiceuk." Another person expressed: "My one problem with #TheVoiceUK is that it's gone before it's even started.
Most of the series was taken up by auditions, and because of that, the battles and final felt completely rushed." Somebody else commented: "Too much talent lost too early. At least bring back the battles #itv #thevoiceuk.
" Yet another viewer quipped: "@thevoiceuk I think next year you should bring the battles back and have live shows it would be so much better and by having battles the series will last longer." A fifth said: "Honestly ITV need to take it back to the original format or just axe it. I was a big fan of The Voice, but I've completely lost interest in the show since they got rid of.
