The lineup for The Time of Our Singing Festival – Raising Voices has been announced. This article only features opera events. “Opera and Dance Battles” kick off the festival.

MM Academy young artists with the La Monnaie’s brass quintet, and dancers present hits from the opera repertoire. Performance Date: October 17, 2024 “Music For a While” is performed by young singers and musicians from Singing Molenbeek, Equinox, Remua and Young Belgian Strings. The program features a mix of traditional and classical songs, including works by Vivaldi, Defoort and Beethoven Performance Date: October 18, 2024 At “Songs for Social Justice,”La Monnaie’s amateur choir present protest songs, from French classics, through Manu Chao to the “Slaves Chorus” from Verdi’s “ Nabucco .
